Work Orders
With the new features in VUEWorks 2009 Work Orders you can:
- Attach work orders to any feature or asset on the map
- View schedules by day, week, and month with the interactive Calendar
- Create your own work order forms with a library of provided controls without programming
- Full suite of administrator controls allow you to set up drop-down lists for users to pick from
- Email notices to any email program including Microsoft Outlook
- Optionally post schedules on your own Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes or other Calendar
- Robust reporting features include pre-defined report templates and wizards to create your own
- Track project estimated and actual costs and roll them up with linked work orders
- Create preventive maintenance plans by automatically generating Work Orders by time, event, or data thresholds
- Use it in conjunction with the new Projects module to capture actual costs
VUEWorks Work Order combines the power of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and the GIS to help you manage and plan all work activities. Whether you are dealing with miles of pipe, pothole repair, solid waste removal, inspections, or assets inside a facility, VUEWorks Work Order is your tool to handle it all. Work Order is a flexible module that can run by itself or as an integrated extension to the Service Calls, Valuation, and Projects modules. Flexibility abounds with features that allow you to apply your own terminology and create your own forms from a library of controls. Users can easily create and update Work Orders whether they access them directly or through the interactive Calendar. Managers are empowered to create preventive maintenance schedules that trigger Work Orders according to time or events from SCADA, assign staff, track progress, track costs, send notifications, and create reports. The Work Order Module provides robust tools for assigning staff, tracking costs, sending , filter and create reports using any field used on any work order. Integrated with other modules such as resource manager, the user can easily capture labor costs, parts & materials. Integration with the Valuation module allows any costs related to a particular Work Order to be automatically added to the value of the asset or assets. Integration with the Projects module allows you to capture actual costs and compared with the Project’s estimated costs. Capable of managing work orders in a parent-child relationship, the work order module is ideal for managing any work process and tracking costs associated with any asset. inside your plant or out in the field.
