Condition
With the new VUEWorks 2009 Condition module you can:
- Set up your own simple, itemized, or defect based condition criteria.
- Set up your own criteria with up to 10 condition categories and an unlimited number of items.
- Link your condition categories to the GIS data and color code your assets on the map.
- Create multiple condition records per asset over time and create reports from any point in time.
- Base your GASB 34 reporting requirements on the modified approach.
- Set condition ratings on actual inspections or assigned values and easily switch between.
The Condition module provides flexible tools to set up and use criteria for Simple, Itemized, and Defect based methods for tracking the condition of any asset from pumps to pavement. Up to ten categories can be set up within each criteria and any number of ratings can be set up within each category. Weighting values can be assigned to any rating as well as the categories to achieve the results you need to assess the condition of your assets.

VUEWorks allows you to inspect and record the conditions of assets right in the field. Use the notes feature to attach notes to each rating item for an accurate description. Link your categories to the GIS data and set display your condition in different colors.
With its ability to track condition records over time the Condition module is a great tool for meeting the GASB 34 modified method criteria. Applicable to any type of asset, the condition module makes it easy to set up criteria for assessing the extents and severity of pavement, pipes, facility assets and more.
